My name is Christine.

I am 52 years of age I have battled with my weight for several years trying different eating plans, diets and slimming clubs. Being overweight does affect your health there is no question of that and I had already started on some tablets for my blood pressure.

I wanted to take care of my health and while browsing the Internet I found The Diet Plate®. I decided to buy one after reading the testimonials from people who have tried it and 4 months later I am so pleased that I did, a small investment for such a great weight loss and it will be in my cupboard forever to help me stay at goal.

I can honestly say that I have not felt deprived and have eaten most things I like but stuck to the portion sizes marked on the plate. I eat lots more vegetables and salads now and it has taught me to rebalance my diet to a healthy one, I have my portions under control even when I am out dining at a restaurant.

I feel so much better and can get into my jeans again, in fact all my old clothes are being replaced with new as I have gone from a size 20 to a 14 and my husband is calling me his "new toy girl!" He says I am his new woman.

People who I have not seen for a while are looking twice when they see me and asking "if it is actually is me?" So if I can do it and lose 4 dress sizes, you can lose your excess weight too, I can honestly say it has not been hard at all. All you have to do is stick to the portions marked on the plate. At the weekend I still have a roast dinner within the portions and I have a sweet, I have not felt hungry. I allow myself a packet of those baked crisps if I really want something different at lunch but it is usually a plain bagel with meat and salad or a very low fat emmantel cheese. You won’t know what a difference it can make until you try it so give it a go – it really works!

PS: Did I mention that my doctor has said next appointment if I continue to lose weight he will take me off my blood pressure pill. He said, "whatever you're doing, you are doing right, so keep it up." Better than another prescription isn't it?
